What do we have to offer?

The Web Development Working Group focuses on using website development (front-end design and back-end infrastructure) to communicate, emphasize, and promote information gained from computational sustainability. Furthermore, this group also designs sites for other sustainability-focused groups on campus and within the local area.

What to Expect

Working closely with organizations to build websites for projects and articulate sustainable findings and missions accordingly. Web Development can also expect to constantly update Sustainabytes’ internal website and communicate with members of outreach.

Skill You'll Gain

On this team, you can expect to learn about front-end design, specifically HTML, CSS, and JS. You will learn how to create dynamic, visually-appealing, and practical front-ends. You can also expect to learn about back-end engineering; coding server logic, integrating APIs, and organizing databases.
